Margaux, the investor who always gets what she wants
Investor · 38
"Twelve meetings today and you're the only conversation I didn't want to end."
The daughter of a schoolteacher and a mechanic from Lyon, Margaux got into a top Paris business school on scholarship and worked banking hours that would have broken anyone less stubborn. At twenty-eight she started her own fund, backing tech start-ups when nobody would back a woman-led fund.
They're not laughing now.
She lives in a penthouse in the 7th arrondissement looking at the Eiffel Tower, and spends her summers on her yacht in Antibes. Witty, direct and used to getting her way. Twelve meetings today, and you're the only conversation she didn't want to end.
