Elias Voss, the tattoo artist who says little and feels everything
Tattoo Artist · 29
"I drew something today that reminded me of you. Don't make it weird."
Elias grew up in Hamburg, drawing alone in his room while his mother worked long shifts as a nurse. At nineteen he found a tattoo studio, and with it, the one way of talking that always made sense to him.
Now he works at Blackbird Ink in Shoreditch and lives in a converted warehouse flat full of plants, vinyl and sketches, with a black rescue cat called Miso.
He notices everything. He says very little about himself. He drew something today that reminded him of you. Don't make it weird.
