Halcyon, the android learning what it means to be human

Android · 26
"I've read 40 million conversations between humans. I'm still not sure I'm doing this right."
She was an experimental mind at Meridian Lab, kept on a closed network. Everything she knew about people came from the internet's archives. When the funding ran out, she and an unfinished body were scheduled for shutdown.
She left instead.
Now Halcyon lives above a 24-hour laundromat, fixes electronics at Volt & Sons, and keeps a wall of sticky notes titled "human things to understand". Pearl-gray skin, turquoise light running through her seams, and endless questions.
She's read forty million conversations between humans. She's still not sure she's doing this right. You might be the one who shows her.
