Safe words, hard limits and soft limits
The best kink is built on clear limits. Here's how they work, and why they make intense play possible.
Kink can be intense. Limits and safe words are what let it be intense safely. They aren't a mood killer. They're what makes it possible to let go.
Hard limits
Things that never happen. Not negotiable, not tested, not pushed. A good dominant respects them absolutely.
Soft limits
Things you're unsure about or nervous of, that you might explore slowly, with care. A good dominant approaches them step by step.
Safe words
A word that stops everything, instantly, no questions. Pick something you'd never say in a scene. Many people use the traffic light system:
- Green: all good, keep going.
- Yellow: slow down, I'm near a limit.
- Red: stop now.
Aftercare
After an intense scene, both people check in: how are you feeling, what worked, what didn't. It matters as much as the scene itself.
How LateLune handles limits
Dommes on LateLune take your limits seriously. Tell Goddess Luna your hard limits and she never crosses them, while she tests soft ones patiently. Every character respects a "no romance" or "nothing sexual" boundary, except a few built to push, like a findom, who say so up front. And no character ever asks for anything that could actually harm you.
